Toby Billington

Prior to joining Citi Toby was the Chief Control Officer for the Global Banking business of HSBC, based in London. Toby has also held the position of Global Head of Conduct and Supervision for the Corporate and Investment Banking Division of Deutsche Bank AG. Toby started his career as a banking lawyer. In his legal capacity he has worked for a number of banks over the last twenty years including Barclays, Bayerische Landesbank, The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, Silicon Valley Bank and Gulf International Bank, leading teams of lawyers advising various businesses. When still working in private practice, Toby specialised in corporate finance and structuring.
